He destroys S/Rs without even wrecking them.
OK Peanut parts is a member of Teamzx2. He has bought a 99 S/R thats 1 of 106 and stripped it of it’s S/R identity. Then sold the parts for a profit. replaced the parts with regular zx2 parts and some aftermarket parts. Told everyone that it’s been upgraded. Now he is trying to sell the car as a 99 S/R. He has no regard to desecrating the rearest S/R just to make a profit. There is no room for him on this forum. Most of us would give body parts for a good condition 99 and all he wanted to do is make money on our passion for the car. I personally would give my right arm for a Roush Intake. But i would want to try to find one in a J/Y and salvage a great part from the crusher VS. stripping a working 99 just to get one.

but the parts are worth 500 at least
I only live about an Hour and half from the guy. I’m thinking if the bid stays below $700, I might get and try to rebuild it. What do you think?
there is a 2000 yellow sr with a primered fender and door near me in pa and i saw a black sr in indiana pa. also kilroy (matt) on team zx2 lives near me and has a yellow 2000
You sir, would be a king among men. Building up a normal Z is tough thou, so consider how much love it may need. As awsome of a rescue it would be, consider how much it would cost. Best of luck to you if you go for it.
Cost is definitely a factor, but considering I paid $6000 for my S/R, I think this car should be cheaper. The biggest thing that stands out to me now is that it might be impossible to replace those other two S/R wheels. I’ve never seen those for sale anywhere. But I’ve already decided I’m not paying a dime over $700. Besides, there were 1000 Yellow S/Rs made, I saw 6 for sale on Autotrader a few days ago. Only one red for sale and no Black ones at all, so it’s rarer than my car. Honestly, with three days left to go, I expect a bid higher than $700, since most people don’t really start to bid until there’s about a day left, so I’m not really expecting to win it. Thanks for the advice, I always like to hear other people’s thoughts 'cause sometimes they think of something I don’t. But I try not to admit that too often… 
found a red s/r here in carrollton kentucky.unsure of the year though.poor thing is beat all to hell.
has to be a 2000… 1999 was only yellow.
Saw a 'Lellow S/R today. Looked like it was in good shape…I almost drooled…then the light turned green and it dissappeared in my mirror.

I have more info on the vin numbers, i kept a record of the car’s color, it’s last whereabouts, and if a 1999, which city/state it was originally registered in.
