New from The Atl

They’ll be up by monday for sure, possibly sunday night. I’m not at home right now.

Couple new little updates.

Heres what it looked like when I had the 16s on it.

And after I gave it a bath from the road trip to Ga from La where it was brought up from when I bought it. It was nasty in some places.

Then the next purchase to go in the car besides L.E.D.s
Hope this fits…

so are you going to keep the rims on it then? They look pretty good but I can’t really tell without a bigger pic of the whole car. The knob look sick(in a good way).

Well I’m planin to keep the rims for now but I only did one tire to see how it looked only cause they didn’t fit due to the tires, but as soon as I get new ones I’m puttin them back on probably

What size are the tires I am guessing bigger than 205 which means 215?

No they are 205/55/16s

Welcome from a fellow S/R owner.

Thanks ^^ Startin to really enjoy driving it more and more. And I keep finding things I wanna buy and tweak and all.

Well I’m hopin some of this random spots of rain will clean off my driveway from my um… burnout into my driveway the other day haha. Was a little bit bigger then what I planned to do

That’s about the only thing you need to worry about the zx2 is the diff. It does not like burn out’s, the spider gears will shatter.Figure I would pre-warn ya bud.

Yeah, its somethin I wasn’t plannin on doin and it just kinda happened. Finally got used to drivin it and figurin out the shift spots and all. Actually gonna be teachin my cousin how to drive a stick with it. Its the easiest stick shift thats around. All the others are either race clutches or older ones in a muscle car.

Well got some stuff to figure out. Drove it the other day with the AC on and it stalled 3 times rolling up when I was slowing down to stop. It was nothing I did cause it caught me off guard each time it happened so looking into that tomorrow.

And I can’t get over how quick it is. I know its not a good thing to race, and I normally don’t but man messing with hondas and stuff are fun. They don’t realize that mines the S/R so they think they can walk on me. Walked an Integra bad on the way to work just cause I could. But got to get that out of my system, seeing as I’m the only bright yellow ZX2 in my county let alone around where I live.

I’ll agree driving dumb isn’t good in a bright yellow car. Blue is a much better choince :sunglasses:

Not hard to miss it.

But on another note hopefully my sound system goes in the week, and maybe tint the windows.

So it sounds like you are really really enjoying this car now. That’s good.

Yup, really enjoying, just hate driving it in traffic lol.

Now tryin to find some 16s or 17s for it. Found some one set just waiting to hear back from the guy

Ok, so I’m def new at this next little bit. Alright since I have the '00 ZX2 S/R, my valve cover doesn’t have the spark plug cover. So I’m wondering if anyone knows if the other valve cover that came on some ZX2’s that can fit the spark plug cover will work on mine? The blue on mine is nice and all but its time to change it up a bit. Thinking yellow like the car and a carbon fiber cover.

1998 covers bolt right on - i do have them on hand at the store

Got the bolts and everything to for the spark plug cover too? And price?

use your existing gasket and if u want the bolts and plastic cover i’ll throw it in - just send me a note to remind me.
