I am really glad to be here.

Hey buddy,
You might know some of us. Welcome. So I think your car has a drop anything else to it? More pics

Welcome to the good community of ZX2 members. That’s a first I have ever saw your ZX2. Looks like a suddle z.

Yeah here are my mods:

MMI Intake, Kamikaze Header, Tokico struts, Dropzone Springs, 21mm Rear Sway Bar, ES Rear Tranny inserts and solid front tranny mount, SCT Tuned by Bamachips, Trubendz exhaust 2.5 Borla with Magnaflow muffler, Esslinger 25% UDP, Falken Ziex 912 tires, Reactive Front Strut brace, 98 Transmission with 99 5th Gear, Spec Stage 2 clutch.

I am about to purchase log style intake manifold and built Gude head with oversized valves, street cams, p/p and milled to a 10.5:1

Right now at this moment I am currently fighting many transmission issues, I hope to have these fixed soon. I am really glad to be here.

No recent pics but this is an engine bay shot before nice intake and touch up:

I really wanna keep as much of a stock look as possible. Besides tint, the lowering obviously, the wider tires, ect. I don’t want a body kit. I want a restoration, to keep it looking brand new for as long as possible even though the chassis has 136k on it.

How do you like that MMI Intake. I keep thinking about buying it and spraying it to the color of my car…not sure if I will though or not.

Let me be completely honest with you. I am SO glad I bought it. It is excellent quality and really made a difference. I was really skeptical that an intake would make such a huge difference over a 3" ebay intake but holy cow. The car sounds deep now from the engine bay instead of that ebay raspy resonance. It actually pulls harder too according to the butt dyno. I felt an immediate improvment. Very happy I bought it.

Sometimes I wish I had a stock ZX2 body, but I don’t regret it, it stands out from the pack.

:D

On that MMI Intake is there any other way to get ahold of DOCHV6? Since he really never comes online anymore?

There is a group buy going on right now actually. Otherwise you can PM him or teamzx2 user BigD

What happens if I want to buy one later or something?

Sweet deal dude! Welcome and enjoy your stay

Josh, Do you spend any time on Highway 150 (John Hawkins Parkway) in Hoover?
