New Toy

Not to try and out shine Chris but I also purchased a new Toy. So I purchased a new car about almost a month ago. I’m going to run down some of it’s features:

3.8L V6 (largest engine for that year)
4-door
Power Everything (windows, locks, seats)
Full Package (Leather seats, ABS, Traction Control, Dual Climate)
Alloy Wheels rapped up in 225/60R16s
Custom Paint Job

Should be really nice for the winter months when I can’t drive my Zx2

Here are a few pictures

It’s missing something ??????

Oh yea that fuel door.

LOL

I guess it wasn’t as big of a build up as I had hoped for.

There are so many things to fix on the car. All little things, mainly. A fuel door is one of them. But more importantly, there is an exposed gear that I saw when doing my oil change. It was very large, much 1.5x the size of a dinner plate. Not sure what it is yet but there were 2 screw holes on the one side. I’m guessin there was guard/shield to it. But it doesn’t look like it ever leaked or anything.

Just my winter beater. It’s my “Bumble,” because bumbles bounce.

Well, it looks like a good machine. Little love and care and it should last you awhile.

Yeah those 3800 series motors are pretty stout, though I had transmission issues with my Bonneville.

Funny that you mentioned that. This vehicle is on it’s second transmission. Engine is running fine, but I do worry about the tranny from time to time. Do you happen to know about this?

Sorry I don’t, what year is it? Is it a 4T65E tranny?

It’s a 1995 Buick Regal GS. The tranny code I will get later for you. Thanks for the help.

I posted a thread in http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/ about your qeustion…

Should be a response shortly, someone mentioned that a cover may just be missing, but I think you already knew that.

Thanks Man…Saw the response that it is the flywheel. Does that need to be lubricated or anything? Transmissions are still foreign to me.

I can only assume so… Only thing I do with cars are changing oil, filters, tune ups, driving and breaking, and paying an @$$ load of money to get them fixed, sorry.

NO! He did that for weight reduction! :stuck_out_tongue:
