Now that is sweet. Can you provide some more information about what you have done there?
To install , you must remove the cubby and tuck away the cigerette lighter ,measure and cut the appropiate size square with a Dremel and wire into a relay that you attach onto the cd/radio lead or use the radios turn on lead .
In my case I use a 20amp relay to turn on my eq , 3 way electronic crossover and my 3 amplifiers .
The inside of the cubby hole isn’t uniform. It is a little lower on one side, did you need to change anything to compensate?
The eq that I used is a single din size. When you do the measurements and fit it , it wont matter , there is nothing behind it except the ecu , which is way below it .
By that I think he means that he cut off the actual cubby. He’s only using the front surface and the snaps to hold it in place. Everything else has been removed.
I could be wrong, but that’s what it sounds like to me. Looks good though!
