Heres a heads up i have forgot to put in here, for all those that think the Focus SVT engine is superior in quality to ours its not. Infact it uses 98 escort part number head set… its a F8CZ number with translates to a 98 escort Zx2 head set number. the change in hp was acheived by using higher LB injectors, a dual stage short runner intake manifold and the VCT was moved to the intake camshaft, the only upgrade was the rods are slightly better but eagle or crower rods kick the shit out of them… so know you know…the focus svt wasnt basized of of the 00 zx3 but our mightty 98 zx2… beat that focus lovers…haha ford knew what engine to use to build an svt engine…
