I would like you to go and do a search for “escort” at Streetfire.net. When I looked 3 months ago, there were about 2-3 pages, now there are 7 or 8 pages.
To go a little deeper, I looked at a few comments. A good portion were other escort owners wanting to get in touch with escort owners that have done the mods. Others seem very impressed that an Escort can beat a Mustang, Probe and a Supra.
Though not all are 3rd generation, they will soon be having their chance once the car becomes older and more mods and parts become available.
