NE1 have a little advice to help a brother move forward?
There a few ways to do this. One is to find a rear end off of a 94, 95 escort GT and take the whole rear subframe. Recently our own Pip discovered a new way to setup the rear disc brakes. Do a search on it and you should find a few threads listed for that very same thing.
