Christmas away

As Christmas approaches again a friend of mine got put on stand by to be re deployed to Iraq. He missed the 1st Christmas with his baby boy, now he might miss this years. So to all those who are serving in the armed service’s thank you for your sacrifice and Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas to everyone else also. Hope Santa is good to everyone!!!

To the brave souls who won’t be celebrating with us.

Let us remember before God,and command to his sure keeping:
Those who have died for there country in war,
These whom we knew, and whose memory we treasure:
And all who have lived and died in service of mankind.
They shall not grow old as we are left to grow old.
Age shall not weary them,nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun and in the morning.
WE WILL REMEMBER THEM, LEST WE FORGET THE BRAVE WHO GAVE THE ULTIMATE PRICE FOR FREEDOM

As a member of the Canadian Armed Forces, I have to say that the United States supports their military far more than Canadians do. Only recently have Canadians actually been supportive of our mission in Afganistan, which I’ve been 4 times, and only recently has the government spent any real money on our forces. Kudos to American people for realizing the job the Armed forces do.
