Hello all! Its been quite a while since I’ve visited the ZX2 boards! When I got my '00 S/R, I was on them all the time. That was a long time ago, LOL!
Anyway, I broke my 5speed a while ago, spider gears flaked-out. This happened just weeks after I installed a new Centerforce Dual-Friction clutch, Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel and, of course, a new dealer throw-out bearing. My mechanic says it had been breaking for a while. So, we put in a Focus SVT 6 speed tranny to hold up better this time around.

I wish I still had that set-up 'cause the flywheel was really cool, hadn’t installed one before and the motor ran more freely.
