I bought this album and hated it…and then started liking it…now it’s my all time favorite. It’s genius…nuff said. Actually, my next favorite album is Radiohead too, but I guess that’s cheating.
2. Tool – Lateralus
This album is the perfect fusion of heaviness and beauty.
3. Led Zeppelin – Led Zeppelin I
Come on! Nobody likes the Zep…they are probably the greatest rock band of all time!
4. John Scofield – Uberjam
Funk/Jazz at it’s best. Sco is one of my favorite guitarists. If you don’t understand jazz, this is your doorway to another dimension of music. I heard this album and was like, Ohhhh, now I get it!
5. James Brown – In the Jungle Groove
Pure, in yo face FUNK!
This album is wayyyy ahead of it’s time…It’s where hip-hop originated from…also, it’s actually the most sampled album of all time.
well see you went the old school route. I just put down what i was listening to most frequently. We should make another thread for greatest albums of all time
