Nashville: the city that fucked my trans

http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w118/mellowness65/2008-12/PC200050.jpg

I hit a massive(half lane) fucking pothole in Nashville, a big FUCK YOU delivered courtesy of Tenn DOT, I have a leak from it, I’m hoping only the trans got a loose seal. Anyways, we got to John’s

a couple vids thru some tunnels, I can’t decide whether they sound good or not with the shitty speakers on my laptop, so I’ll post them up. Note: it’s not that easy to video and drive thru a curving tunnel at the same time

looks like a lot of fun. Glad you guys gained some knowledge of it and had a good time. Sucks to see you ran something over in the mean time going there.

Yeah I checked the car today when I was able to get it out on a lift and it looks like the ps lines may acutally be the culprit, WHEW  time to look into ps delete

really your going to get rid of power steering. I think that is one of the most thing’s I can’t get rid of. I didn’t have it in my old pickup for a while till I fixed it. It sucked in the mean time. That is good that you found were the leak is coming from though.

Yea I really don’t think it’s gonna be hard to steer, I drove a 66 or 67 coronet for a while that had manual steering and it wasn’t much of a chore

Man I wish I was there for a motor swap. Looks like fun.

there’s a good chance mine will come out when I do mtx swap, if you’re up for a cross country road trip:)

definately looks like you all had alot of fun aside from the TennDOT incident.

Where you at Mellowness?

I’m in Cherryville, NC

I’m just glad we got done what we did. The storm front was blowing in and it went from 55 to 27 in less than 2 hours with winds blowing around 25mph and gusts of 40mph. Once I got the PS hooked back up we decided to call it quits. All John should have had left was to rebuild the passenger side axle and bolt it in, attach the radiator hoses, put fluids in it, give everything a once over and turn the key. (hopefully)

I hear ya! Things rarely go that simple for me!

THAT will be a trip.
