when in park (the only time it happens) I sometimes have trouble getting her into 1st or Reverse. I’ll either have to push in on the gas to get her in gear, or go to 2nd gear first…5th before reverse etc… I hope it’s just a clutch or throwout bearing but what is it?
does it grind or make any noise when you try to go into 1st??
not usually, only if I have to slip it to get it in gear.
The 5th before reverse is the lock out mechanism for the reverse gear. That is so you can not shift into reverse pulling out of 5th while in top gear. At least that what im under the impression of from what ive read about it.
The rest of it Im not sure, might be a clutch issue??

Probably the 1st gear synchro giving you probs…if so it doesnt sound that bad yet…reverse doesnt have a synchro so thats why its grinds sometimes.

Sure, if you want to spend a shitload of money to repair it, then yeah, two months.
lol yeah…be good and dont shift hard…save up and then fix it. If it breaks now…have fun spending some money on a new tranny. I found a used j/y tranny here for $400. 
Still havent bought another one…my 3rd gear is gone and it kinda sucks lol.
