Just am curious to know if I need a ccrm from an auto to cork correctly if I have an auto. In other words can I used one from a maunaul in my ATX so long as I am using one from a 98 or pre 99.5 (i have a 98)?
It should be ok. All the CCRMs off the cars with 4 wire MAFs are compatible with other 4 wire MAF cars, and all the CCRMs off the cars with 6 wire MAFs are compatible with other 6 wire MAF cars. Because the wiring is different, you only experience issues when you cross the versions, transmission isn’t an issue.
